Pepper is both a groundbreaking album and one of The Beatlesâ greatest achievements, and it also caused something of a seismic shift in rock ânâ roll and popular culture by helping to usher in the âSummer of Loveâ upon its release in June 1967. As Paul McCartney said, âIt was influential in a lot of ways, not just musically.â

According to Record Collector magazine no. 335, these don't affect value as the album was a multi-million seller. Original stereo copies are rarer than original mono copies, however the original mono pressing is a different mix to the version available in the shops today, so although not as rare, the mono is the most desirable.
Sgt. Pepper is as deluxe as most of its original fans will ever experience it. The first thing to say is that, despite all the revisions over the years, itâs still a brilliant album. Even without all the experiments, the tapes being thrown in the air, orchestral climaxes and use of Indian musicians, this is (largely) a set of extraordinary songs.
The interaction of these same two qualities underlies the outlook of Sgt. It was this vision that was to provide the static element of the Beatlesâ art, and the dynamic of the trip in all dimensions
